My first great granddaughter was delivered by C-section this morning, Sept. 3rd at 6a.m.  She weighed in at a bit over 6 lb.  to Erin and Jordan Kriel.  I have seen a picture of her on iPad.  She is precious and how can I love a little person’whom I have never seen, so much!

All of life is a balancing act and I have balanced this morning’s pleasure with an encounter with siblings .

Onward and Upward

Originally I wrote this title but nothing else. It is the way of life. There is no other and therefore I must continue to believe this and make necessary changes to accomplish it. Not always easy but there is. Guidance available through reading and people with which we come in contact. Pay attention!

The Choice is Mine

I am settling in at Country Charm. It has been a major adjustment but with the encouragement of family and friends AND some really good reading material I am making progress. The book by Louise Hay entitled The Power is Within You has been invaluable to me. The message. Is that we have choices.

The Journey Continues

The Journey Continues

My emotions are all over the place. I’m never sure if I’m going to laugh, cry, say something totally in appropriate, or be “normal”. I put that in quotes because I don’t know what normal is. Perhaps someone does.
I am most grateful that the people whom I love continue to help me and love me.
My sister-in-law and brother-in-law leave tomorrow after being here for two wonderful weeks. My daughter, Kim, also arrives tomorrow to pack me and my belongings up and drive me to Indy where I will enter Country Charm , an assisted living facility.
And so my journey continues and I continue to move onward and upward even though at times I don’t understand my emotions and behaviors. My favorite verse from the Bible still rings loud ands clear. I have been knocked down but not out.
